"i was dreaming..."
when i thought i’d see my name in shining lights
when i thought i ruled the world
seizing the day and grasping the night
assumed things would come as i wished
figuring all my successes would fall into place
without obstacles or tribulations
without trails or obstructions
but i lied, cried…
realizing life was more than ‘giving it a try’
sold myself a false reality
thinking it is as easy as it seems
nothing more than a set of numbers trying to find the means
living the struggles i was set to face
in order to live my dreams, in order to win this race
so i woke up
climbing this mountain of challenge
because there is no way i will allow myself fail…
though, once upon a time
i fell in love with a fairy tale
