been a while, i know.
but some updates on my life...
first,
i is officially a master...
of architecture, that is...
an alumnus of the prestigious georgia institute of technology
and done with my graduate school career*
it was a definitely a task
but i made it...
and i am truly joyful.
speaking of joyful,
second.
i am really happy,
still not really sure how it happened,
and i shan't complain
all i can say is that i am happy
and he keeps me that way...
gross... i'm been sappy...
change of subject
changing subjects,
speaking of changing subjects,
third,
i did something a little different this last couple weeks...
i taught a class at a charter school
doing something i am fully capable of teaching
building structures
but with the most extreme switch to what im used to when i think of structures
how the heck to i teach building structures to 3-7 graders
exactly
so we covered the fundamentals of structures
talking about foundations, and common structures like bridges and towers,
we did a few things with simple machines!
and made catapults!
and then we launched solid fuel
rockets!
[in the aerospace class]
but it was all good and fun
hey, it's summer!
it's hot as all things that are hot
but it's summer!
thus,
moving on...
speaking of moving on,
here i am,
last.
an undeniably, beautiful-spirited,
young, black women
with two degrees...
figuring out my next step in life
looking for a job is painful!
so i'm left to wonder
how do i reach my personal and career aspirations,
like what am i doing with my life?
my time is running out...
it gets harder and harder to wake up
and come to work...
but maybe because this job is so boring
maybe if i find something i love to do
all this will become easier...
problem is...
i gotta find something i love to do...
tis all for now.
but until then, i'm taking baby steps towards fulfilling my dreams...
