at this time

history like no other

where a nation

spoke

clearly

looking past the racial boundaries

towards the greater possibilities

at this moment

my soul is feeling something different

my soul is smiling

touched by the decisions we made

moved by the movement

change has come…

my president is black…

but he too

is qualified

finally letting

freedom ring…

at this moment

progress has become a process…

we’ve come too far to fall back…

so again i say

support the cause
get involved with the movement
don't get left behind
because at this moment

we are one people
one nation

e plurivist unum
out of many, one

let's make history
let's change the world
together

because we can

and yes
