i am not the average jane

i'm commonly claimed…

i'm not normal

i'm not the "same"

i'm not simple

or perplex

just vividly detailed

not an interpretation

more like misinterpreted

i’m not insightful

just focused

not smart

just learning

not balanced

but in touch with my own equilibrium

neither under command or under direction

but under control

i'm not just another groupie

i joined my own bandwagon

and you keep trying to hop on

i'm not a superhero

i don't save the day

my superpowers don't exist

i only try to make a way

i'm not an angel

i'm not satan

but truly saved

i am not strong

i have faith

i am not the exception

i'm exceptional
