the "l" word...

so when i said i was open to address anything anyone requested

i didn’t realize that i’d actually get requests

and so often

it’s exciting

and i kinda like it…

thus,

how do you feel about the use of the "L" word... [Love]

umm… i don’t have an issue with using the “l” word

disclaimer: that doesn’t mean to use it loosely and if you don’t mean it

personally, i believe that if you love someone,

you should definitely let them know

and often

however, that doesn’t mean just talking about it, definitely be about it

say it and show it

there are so many other ways to express to someone that you love them

but i think my argument is that, it should be used in the right context

there is a fine line being in love and loving somebody

they cannot be equated the same

the difference?

you can love anyone, everyone, everything...

loving someone means they hold a place in your heart

you care for them, their health, their safety, their well being...

and would do anything for them...

but being in love is that and so much more

its devoting yourself to a person

mind, body, and spirit...

accepting one's flaws and faults to the point,

it deems them to perfection...

becoming apart of your thought process offseason and without reason...

their needs become yours

you joy, in their happiness

this love conquers all things

so much that you can barely put into words

almost indefinite

words limit the meaning

no longer conscious of the matter

no longer a decision

no longer in control

it’s an undeniable feeling

its a state of being

and they cannot be equated the same

love makes you pancakes in the morning

in love washes the dishes too… lol

you forgot something, sis. LOVE makes you pancakes in the morning (not cheese omelettes- that's lust) and washes the dishes AND - here's the kick- not because you want them to wash the dishes, but because they want to wash the dishes! Come on!?
