they are a journey
that two decide to partake in
traveling together
passing through phases, states, times...
growing, learning

and once one decides they aren't going the right way
or think they rather take another road...
the two part paths...

they need...
honesty, commitment, communication, consistency
patience, trust, optimism
faith, compromise
love
and should possess mutual feelings…

time and effort
