she hides behind
masking the interior design
she lies
behind the architectural cladding
her feelings
articulated through the surface
the substructure
-her heart
holding down the basis of her being
the foundation
deeply implanted in the soils
penetrating the earths of her mind
climbing through the gravel
leading to her spirit
trying, genuinely, not to crumble
for the lateral forces are against her
her façade
punctured
only revealing the holes in her edifice
creating minutes of pause
a memory
as time passed
she crafted
leading actress, she plays
making you believe she is of the character
role...
rolling out of those moments
where what lies within
extends past the periphery
but there remains her façade
protecting the interior design
securing the substructure
her heart...
guarding the foundations
trying, genuinely, not to crumble
for the lateral forces are against her
and her façade

Yeah I definitely loved this. the design references, wordplay, clear imagery...Cool Beans. It slightly reminds me of my "Empty aesthetics" poem which goes to prove that we will never get away from thinking architecturally in our 'normal' every day lives lol
