brought these tears to my eyes...
i cried...
hysterical
felt so many emotions inside
he spoke those words
i'd never thought i'd hear
and the tears
came so fast
as we were walking side by side
holding hands...
a disruption in the path
he said "dang"
stopped dead in his tracks...
and turned away...
i froze...
not knowing what i did... or what to say
he faced me
got on one knee... and said...
"i remember when i dreamed of someone like you...
and now i realize, there is no one like you...
i love you with all the fibers of my being
and i can't imagine myself without you
give me that chance..."
and they shed...
someone like you...
brought these tears to my eyes
these tears
that said... "yes..."
