chronometrophobia

this whole idea of waiting
has begun to perplex me
i can easily say that i believe that patience is a virtue
"in due time"
"time will tell"
all of that
but sometimes i wonder
does time really effect the outcomes of things
why not now?
what real difference will it make in the end
and with that, we have
chronometrophobia
is just that
the fear of time
what if... in that due time
things don't turn out the way you wished
or that patience you keep
was taken for granted
and just that, a waste of time
thus i'm left to ponder
should i fear the idea of acting too early
or regret the outcome in waiting for the right time

so to this i say....
carpe diem; carpe noctis
seize the day; seize tonight
enjoy the present
as opposed to placing all hope in the future
not saying not to keep faith
but more... don't wait in vain
the time is now...
and if you're going to wait
wait because you want to...
what because it's worth it...
