and so it begins
the process of transformation
not like metamorphosis
no caterpillar will hatch from its pupal stage
and fly away as an amazingly gorgeous butterfly
what is present is already radiantly beautiful
(well that's what it believes)
but more so
the outgrowth of the unnecessary
voyage to validation
of both scientific reason
and irrational logic
the empirical balance
the continuity of intelligence
linking of life lessons
acknowledging, then embracing
the idea of understanding the elapsed
in order to accept the present
and make way for the future, for tomorrow...
acquiescence
finding the solution within the answers
or the knowledge that there is no answer in the solution
or just the experience along the way
the turned pages before a new chapter
an interlude between tracks
or just the fade...
